Account Services Intern

One of Louisville’s top, full-service marketing firms has an exceptional internship opportunity in its Account Services department. We are seeking a high-energy, self-starter to provide support to our Account Executives and Account Coordinators on various client projects.

The ideal candidate is actively pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism or Business. Candidates must be very detail-oriented, have a solid understanding of basic marketing principles, have the ability to communicate well and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Candidates must also be computer-proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience in sales, advertising or marketing is a plus.

This is an unpaid opportunity that will allow the selected candidate to obtain broad experience in many facets—a great resume builder.

Duties may include:

• Working closely with account teams to generate and implement marketing plans, strategies and tactics.
• Attending and providing input to creative, agency and client meetings. This could include brainstorming, strategy development and Account team meetings.
• Obtaining additional background and current market information through research.
• Reviewing industry trends, business surveys and other data regarding client markets, customers and competitors.
• Opening job tickets and preparing change orders as well as other documents per agency standards and procedures.
• Additional opportunities and responsibilities exist and are dependent upon the candidate’s abilities and desire.
