LOUISVILLE, KY (June 13, 2008) – Thevimarcgroup has appointed Kirk Bastyr to the newly created position of Vice President and Director of Account Services.

Bastyr was most recently Vice President of Operations at Arends, a Chicago-based advertising and marketing agency. He was instrumental in reviving and increasing Arends billing, and in determining a new strategic direction for the company.

Bastyr, a graduate of Indiana University, has twenty years experience in the marketing communications industry, and will be responsible for supervision of all accounts and account staff at thevimarcgroup. In addition, he will evaluate operational procedures and work to increase billing, both from existing and new accounts.
